Teens & Friends United – Nature Conservation Organisation (TAFU)
Teens & Friends United (TAFU) is a nature conservation organisation that aims to raise awareness about the importance of personal responsibility and action in preserving the environment. The organisation was founded in May 2021 by Nika Strok Underwood, then a 13-year-old girl who believes it is time to move from discussing and supporting environmental issues to taking action.
TAFU does not fundraise or sell anything but instead focuses on hands-on global projects. It spreads awareness through events such as international concerts and clean-ups, held every first weekend of the month, conducting interviews with scientists and activists, teen photography competition, researching nature topics. TAFU also encourages personal exploration, and generally trying to show young people a sustainable way of living can be fun and very interesting.
In addition, Teens & Friends United has produced a web app, Eco Patrol, which allows individuals to report illegal rubbish dumps and polluted areas. TAFU also offers environmental education programs in schools and youth centres, webinars on various topics such as pollution and climate change, and information about the importance of certain animal species in ecosystems. TAFU also focuses on wildfire awareness, particularly the threat of human-made fires on ecosystems and animal habitats. All are welcome to join and support TAFU’s efforts in preserving nature and addressing environmental issues.
We invite you to join us in our efforts to change how we live, think, and behave. It is our shared responsibility to take care of our planet, and we welcome any ideas, questions, contributions, and actions that can help us make a positive impact. If you are interested in getting involved, we are looking for country representatives, volunteers, projects, and ideas. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us and join our cause. Together, we can make a difference. OUR WORLD IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY!
Let’s keep it wonderful!

Emelin is an excellent young French teen photographer (17) who has been passionate about nature ever since he was a child. He was always attracted to animals of all kinds. He finds himself lucky, living in Ardèche, amongst chestnut forests, streams and meadows. At the age of 12 he got his first camera as a present. Taking photos of small animals and nature surrounding his home.
Get Inspired. Take Action. Be a part of the green revolution.
For Earth Day 2023, we need to act (boldly), innovate (broadly), and implement (equitably). Businesses, governments, and citizens — everyone accounted for, and everyone accountable. A partnership for the planet.
The Seal Research Trust (aka Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust) is a multi-award winning, evidence-based marine conservation charity. What we do really works. We support seal conservation groups across the UK, as well a large network of active citizen scientists across SW communities, who routinely survey seals on their local patch. This gives seals a voice and enables us to protect them and their ocean home.
Danny is based in the UK and has been photographing the natural world for over thirty years. He travels to many parts of the world in search of images and has a passion for the colder climates. Danny’s work has been widely published around the world and he is represented by some of the leading picture libraries.
Sea’d is a small NPO who hopes to bring both large and small communities together. No matter the size of your efforts, it is all important as we wish to shed light and spread support for all those working together in creating a better future. We even help plant trees!
Our name is a tribute to our passion for everything from the land to all that is ultimately apart of our sea. ‘Seedy’, ‘Seed’ or just Sea with a d at the end a play on words but signifying the rooted connection nature has with everything, including us.
A goal that crosses borders and defies religious and cultural differences. World Cleanup Day is one of the biggest civic movements of our time, uniting 191 countries across the world for a cleaner planet. On that day volunteers and partners worldwide again came together, despite the special requirements and many restrictions of Covid-19, to rid our planet of trash – cleaning up litter and mismanaged waste from our beaches, rivers, forests, and streets
Marc Graf and Christine Sonvilla are professional filmmakers, photographers and authors both holding University degrees in Conservation Biology/Ecology and Marine Biology (Marc & Christine) as well German Studies (Christine). Their work has been published worldwide and has received several international awards.
