Social Media and Marketing Intern

TAFU is offering a Social Media and Marketing Internship to an enthusiastic intern who will help enhance our online presence and engage our community. The ideal candidate will be prepared to craft compelling content for various platforms, analyse engagement data, and contribute to our overall marketing strategies. We want you to express your opinion and have ideas (not only marketing related) and present these ideas with confidence to us. This role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on conservation efforts.

Remember, you will be supported at every stage of your internship and will receive constructive feedback on all your work, which you are expected to feedforward into your work.


· Develop and execute social media content plans across platforms to increase visibility and engagement

· Monitor social media trends and recommend strategies for content optimisation

· Create engaging multimedia content (text, images, video) aligned with TAFU’s goals

· Analyse social media performance metrics to guide future campaigns

· Collaborate with the team on the promotion of events

· Engage with the online community, responding to comments and messages

· Assist in organising and promoting TAFU’s environmental projects and events

· Strong interest in conservation and sustainability

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

· Other languages are a bonus

· Willingness to learn

· Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment and project needs

· A can-do attitude

· Creative thinking and ability to produce engaging content

· Basic knowledge of digital marketing, analytics tools, and prominent social media platforms

· Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to guide junior interns

· Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week
