Thomas Cubitt
Junior Juror and TAFU Photographer of the Year 2023 honourable mention winner
I am currently studying BA (Hons) Marine and Natural History Photography at Falmouth University, Cornwall. I have a passion for photography and film and my ambition is to be a wildlife photographer and camera operator. Being able to share stories of our natural environment, is a privilege to promote an understanding of
biodiversity and conservation and to record photographic evidence is one way I feel of doing this.
I have been captivated by photography from the age of 10, when I was able to borrow a camera from my uncle, whilst at my local RSPB site. I captured a Kingfisher on this my first photoshoot, and it opened the gateway of a fascination of wildlife and nature photography.
