I have been a dedicated educator since 2009, currently serving as Artificial Intelligence Lead and IT Teacher at Birkenhead Sixth Form College in Merseyside. My journey in education has been driven by a deep passion for IT, technology, and more recently artificial intelligence. Over the years, I have seen first hand the transformative power of these fields in shaping the future.
At Birkenhead Sixth Form College, I have the privilege of guiding and inspiring students as they navigate the ever-evolving world of technology. My role involves not only teaching IT but also leading initiatives in artificial intelligence, where I aim to equip colleagues with the skills and knowledge they need to save time and enhance lessons.
I was recently wowed by the amazing efforts of teachers from across the globe as a judge in the Global EdTech Awards 2024 and I’m excited that the TAFU-BCS Award will showcase some truly innovative projects that young people develop to tackle environmental challenges.
