A Gypsy moth caterpillar in my garden! The naughty caterpillars in larva and caterpillar form can eat a foot squared of leaves per day! Amazingly the male and the female look different as moths! The males have a brown-grey pattern and the females are white with some black spots. As larva and caterpillars, they can be extremely harmful to trees! Therefore, this caterpillar now has a new home out of our garden😇!
