Dr Diana Pritchard

Dr Diana Pritchard has worked at the University of Bedfordshire since 2012. She is Head of Evaluation and Enhancement and Institutional Lead on Climate and Sustainability Educational Practices. During her forty-year international career she has applied experience, including consultancy, and scholarly outputs relating to the three triple-line bases of sustainability, relating to the environment (and climate), and socio-cultural and economic aspects.
Between 2017-2022 she led from the University on an international consortium that evaluated the UK government funded Strategic Partnership for Higher Education Information and Reform. From 1997-2003 she worked as Regional Director for Fauna & Flora International, establishing a regional office and operations involving regional and national governments, NGOs and local communities, in the Mesoamerican region. Her research publications, including commissions from the UN Economic Commission and Latin America and the Caribbean, the UN Development Programme and the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, encompasses education for sustainability, evaluations of higher education practices, climate change, biodiversity conservation and participatory approaches to engage with rural and indigenous communities.
